Newcastle were heavily beaten by Leicester on Sunday as they dropped to 19th in the Premier League table.
Steve Bruce’s men were beaten 5-0 by Leicester, who are currently third after seven games, and Isaac Hayden was sent off in the first-half.
According to The Guardian, Bruce cancelled training on Monday after a heated team meeting after the game.

READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT
Cancelling training after such a humiliating defeat may actually be a good move on Bruce’s part. It will give the players more time to process the manner of the loss before moving on and preparing for the next game.
After being torn apart by Leicester, Newcastle clearly need to improve all over the pitch and the only way they are going to do that is if everyone is pulling in the same direction – which will only happen if they are level-headed, and not training whilst full of negative emotions.
