Newcastle are reportedly ready to stick with Steve Bruce following the club’s humiliating 5-0 defeat to Leicester.
According to Chronicle journalist Lee Ryder, Newcastle are not prepared to hit the panic button, despite being in the bottom three after seven games in the Premier League.

Sacking Steve Bruce after just seven games in charge would be a touch reactionary. There is still plenty of football to be played between now and the end of the season and Bruce is clearly still trying to find the best way to maximise his squad, which performed so admirably for Rafa Benitez last season.
Newcastle should give Bruce another month, at least, to show that he is improving the team and giving them the best chance of avoiding relegation back down to the Championship.
