Newcastle fans call for Steve Bruce to be sacked after Leicester defeat

Newcastle fans have called for Steve Bruce to be sacked in their drones on social media, following the Magpies’ 5-0 thrashing against Leicester City on Sunday.

Ricardo Pereira opened the scoring in the first-half to give the Foxes the lead, before Isaac Hayden was sent off for a rash challenge moments before the break.

Newcastle then completely capitulated after half-time, with Jamie Vardy scoring twice, a Paul Dummett own goal and Wilfred Ndidi’s late strike capping a miserable day for the Magpies.

And following the result, these Newcastle fans are fuming, with many calling for Bruce to be sacked on Twitter.

While Bruce certainly needs to improve following a tough start to his tenure in charge, his job was made a lot tougher on Sunday following Hayden’s shocking tackle.

The 10-men really had no answer to Leicester in the second-half, and supporters are understandably fearing the worst with Newcastle currently second-bottom in the Premier League.

Things don’t get any easier for Bruce, with Manchester United and Chelsea up next for Newcastle.

matchday.
