Should Longstaff come into the starting line-up with Shelvey out?
Yes. The midfielder has impressed when played this season, before missing the last couple of games due to injury. Allan Saint-Maximin could also be handed a start due to Miguel Almiron’s poor run of form since joining the club in January.
Andy Carroll, however, may need to wait as he returns from a lengthy injury. Joelinton should be given the nod up front again as the Brazilian looks to prove that he is worth the club-record fee Newcastle paid for him. The striker has scored just one goal in six Premier League games so far.
