# These Newcastle fans react to Atsu comments

Newcastle have had a tricky start to the Premier League season and have only scored four goals in six matches so far.

Winger Christian Atsu has placed the blame on himself and his fellow attackers, claiming they need to take more of their chances in games.

> Twitter: ?️ “We, the attackers, need to do more. We have to take our chances, like the ones we had against Brighton.”… https://t.co/IaWYRgo331 (@NUFC)

### READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT

There is no doubting that four goals in six games is a poor return for Newcastle so far. They have also failed to score more than once in a single match this term, which should be a genuine concern for Steve Bruce.

If the likes of Atsu, Miguel Almiron and Joelinton continue to struggle in front of goal, Newcastle may be forced to go back into the transfer market in January to further strengthen their squad.
