Newcastle have had a rocky start to the 2019/20 Premier League season and currently sit 17th in the table.
Steve Bruce took the reigns after Rafa Benitez’s exit in the summer, but has struggled to make much of an impact so far.
Newcastle have amassed just four points from their six games, leaving them just above the bottom three. They have also scored four goals in their six games and failed to score more than once on any occasion.
They are struggling across the board, with a disjointed midfield and an attack which is failing to cause opposition defence’s much trouble. This means that the club may decide to go into the transfer market to bolster their squad in January in order to ensure survival in the top-flight.
