Sevilla are considering the possibility of selling Newcastle transfer target Rony Lopes in January.
According to Spanish outlet El Gol Digital, Sevilla could sell Lopes just months after signing him from Monaco over the summer.
The report claims that Newcastle are interested in Lopes, who has played just 11 minutes of La Liga football so far this season.

Is this a huge boost for Newcastle?
If the reports about their interest are genuine, it would be. Lopes has proven in the past to be an excellent attacking force, scoring 17 goals for Monaco in the 2017/18 campaign and could get back to his best at Newcastle in the Premier League.
With Sevilla wanting to sell, it could also allow Newcastle to strike a cut-price deal for the midfielder, who joined the Spanish side from Monaco for £23m. Newcastle have only scored four goals in six Premier League matches this season and are in desperate need of more quality in the final third, which Lopes could potentially provide in the January transfer window.
Lopes also has experience in English football, having come through the ranks at Manchester City. Although, he failed to make an appearance in the league for City, he did win the Captial One Cup – as it was known at the time – during his spell with the club.
