Yedlin says that he is now looking to prove himself in training and earn the chance to play some minutes in the Premier League in the coming weeks.
He has been out since May with an injury, with Emil Krafth and Javier Manquillo stepping up in his absence.

Should Krafth now be worried about his place?

For sure. Krafth has failed to perform in recent matches, struggling defensively and offensively as he looks to prove he is up to the task of playing in the Premier League following his arrival in the summer.
Yedlin’s return could spell danger for Krafth if he continues to perform poorly, as Steve Bruce may opt to throw the American in at right-back and give him an opportunity to nail the position down as his own.
If Yedlin comes back and is able to string together a run of good performances in the side, Krafth’s Newcastle career could be over before it’s even begun.
