Newcastle winger Jacob Murphy was sent out on loan to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday last month.
Local journalist Dom Howson published an article earlier this week articulating that Murphy needs to show more, after failing to impress in the first few games.

Does Murphy have a future at Newcastle?
It’s beginning to look unlikely. He failed to nail down a place in the West Brom side on loan last season and is seemingly struggling to prove himself at Sheffield Wednesday either.
If he is unable to perform at Championship level, what is there to say he will ever be able to play for Newcastle in the Premier League? Steve Bruce clearly didn’t want him around his first-team in the summer, hence why he loaned him out in the first place.
