Newcastle fans react to Carroll potentially playing against Brighton
Newcastle face Brighton at home on Saturday in the Premier League at St. James’ Park as they look to move out of the bottom three.
Steve Bruce’s side have picked up just four points from their first five games and are currently 18th in the table.
Ahead of the game, Newcastle have been boosted by the return of Andy Carroll – with Joelinton speaking about his time with the forward so far.

Whilst it is very unlikely that there is any conspiracy behind Carroll’s involvement in the squad, there also appears to be little chance of him starting. He had no pre-season and only returned to first-team training over the last two weeks, so he has plenty to do to catch up with the rest of the squad.
A 10-15 minute cameo off the bench could be the most likely way Carroll is involved in the game on Saturday, unless Joelinton suffers an injury and he has to come on to replace him.
