Martinez has scored 31 goals in 36 games for Atlanta in 2019, after bagging 35 in 39 games in 2018 – proving that he knows how to find the back of the net.
Despite Miguel Almiron’s struggles in England since his move to the club, Martinez’s goal return is far better than the current Newcastle forward and he has the physical attributes to be a success in England.
Martinez has the strength to hold off defenders, whilst still possessing the pace required to speed past them and get in behind to create space for himself and his teammates – not to mention that he is a lethal finisher in front of goal.
