Newcastle fans react as Martin Dubravka makes big howler against Liverpool

Newcastle fans are very annoyed after Martin Dubravka made a big howler against Liverpool.

The goalkeeper failed to make an easy catch, dropping the ball directly into the path of Sadio Mane who made the scores 2-1.

Several Newcastle fans were really frustrated with their goalkeeper, who had looked solid before the howler.

@ShelveyGoat was really disappointed with the error.

@NUFC_1987 reckons that the player’s decision making could really do with some work.

Twitter: Dubravka’s decision making in a one on one is suspect. Top keeper but thats his weakness #nufc (@NUFC_1987)

@oldheatonian reckons the player has to be braver.

Poor play Atsu losing the ball; defenders split, Lascelles switched off; Dubravka not… https://t.co/Sq88Kog6P8 (@oldheatonian)

Kristian, however, thinks that the player made amends with some top saves in the second half.

Twitter: A massive mistake by Martin Dúbravka in the first half but that’s a terrific stop to deny Andy Robertson. #NUFC (@Kristian7Ross)

Dubravka’s error was a really poor error of judgement, but he did make up for it.

He made some quality saves throughout the game, but it is a shame that his errors will overshadow this performance.

The goalie really needs to cut out these errors, as they could turn out to be quite costly for the Magpies.
