Who should Newcastle look to bring in?

One player the club should try to sign is Brentford attacking midfielder Said Benrahma, who has already been linked with a January switch to Tyneside.

The Algerian international managed 24 direct goal involvements in the Championship for Brentford last season, scoring 10 and assisting 14 for the Bees as they finished midtable.

His dynamic movement in the final third could help the likes of Joelinton and Miguel Almiron to show off their best form and provide a link between midfield and attack.

Almiron has struggled to make an impact in the Premier League since his move from Atlanta in January, but Benrahma could ease the load on his shoulders in an attacking sense and give him more freedom to perform.
