The latest edition of FIFA is set for release later this month and the player ratings in the game have already been revealed.
One particularly interesting thing to notice in Newcastle’s ratings is that outcast midfielder Henri Saviet is higher rated than academy graduate Sean Longstaff.

In FIFA’s defence, Longstaff made his first-team debut less than a year ago and missed the end of last season due to injury. This means that they had very little to go off in terms of rating, whilst Saviet has been a fairly high rating since his days in France and has not played enough to warrant a substantial downgrade.
If Longstaff can continue to impress in the Premier League this season, he is sure to receive a sizable increase to his rating in January or for the next FIFA, but he has to perform consistently in real life in order to achieve it.
