Newcastle are reportedly eyeing up a potential January move for Brentford midfielder Said Benrahma.
The Toon are thought to have been keen on the Algerian over the summer, but failed to bring him to the Premier League – with Steve Bruce now ready to reignite his interest.

Benrahma would be a sensational signing for Newcastle if they could get a deal done in January.
The Algerian international is superb at creating space in midfield and threading balls through for wingers and strikers to latch onto, whilst also popping up in dangerous positions to score himself.
He is also good from set-pieces, being able to create and score from a dead ball – which could be a valuable asset to Newcastle’s attacking play with the height of Jamaal Lascelles, Joelinton, Fabian Schar etc.
