# Predicting Newcastle’s next five Premier League games

Newcastle are currently sat 14th in the Premier League table after four games played this season.

Steve Bruce took over from Rafa Benitez in the summer and had a tough start to his career on Tyneside, losing to Arsenal and Norwich in his opening two matches.

However, he was then able to record an excellent 1-0 win over Tottenham before also drawing 1-1 with Watford a week later, handing out fresh optimism heading into the international break which is currently underway.

Newcastle will be hoping to avoid a relegation dogfight this season, with the likes of Aston Villa, Norwich, Watford, Southampton and Brighton already down towards the bottom of the league.
