Is Bowen worth the £20m Hull are reportedly demanding for him?

If we compare him to a similar deal that happened in the summer of 2018, it certainly appears to be the case. James Maddison signed for Leicester from Norwich for a fee in the [region of £20m](https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44553234), after scoring 14 goals in the Championship as an attacking midfielder for the Canaries.

Bowen scored 22 times in the league last season and has already averaged a 1-in-2 record so far this term, which suggests that a fee of £20m is around the going rate for players of his calibre.

Maddison went on to create the [most chances](https://www.premierleague.com/players/8456/James-Maddison/stats) in the Premier League last season and earn himself a call-up to the England senior squad, so if Bowen moves to Newcastle and follows in a similar vein – he would be an excellent signing.
