Newcastle were interested in a deal to sign Jarrod Bowen over the summer, but refused to meet Hull’s valuation of the forward.
According to The Chronicle, Newcastle are looking to sign young talent to lower the age of their squad and could make another move for Bowen in the January transfer window.
The report claims that Hull wanted £20m for the winger in the summer, with Newcastle unwilling to stump up the cash to land him.

Whilst there is no way of knowing Newcastle’s transfer budget for the January window, they should look to sign Bowen if they have the funds available to bring him in.
The 22-year-old has scored 39 Championship goals since the start of the 2017/18 season with Hull – netting 22 times last term and starting the current campaign with three in his first six appearances.
With Miguel Almiron now on a run of 10 months without a goal, Bowen could be exactly the type of goalscoring attacking midfielder/wide man that Steve Bruce needs to unlock his attack and get the best out of the likes of Almiron and Joelinton going forward.
