Murphy joined Newcastle from Ipswich in the summer of 2016 following the club’s relegation from the Premier League and the forward played a key role in their promotion back to the top-flight.
Despite being limited to 15 Championship appearances, the striker was still able to find the back of the net five times – before signing for Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2017.
We would like to wish Murphy the best of luck at Bolton and hope that he is able to score the goals to help them avoid relegation down to League Two.
