The Italian club have confirmed the deal, with Lazaar joining them on loan until the end of the 2019/20 campaign.
Lazaar was not named in Newcastle’s official Premier League squad, forcing him to leave for regular first-team football.

Is it a good move for Lazaar?
If he can find regular game time, yes. The defender has barely played for Newcastle since moving to the club in 2016, although he did play for Sheffield Wednesday on loan during the second half of last season.
The left-back never managed to settle down at Newcastle under Rafa Benitez, with Steve Bruce also opting to leave him out of his squad – despite managing him at Wednesday in the Championship.
Lazaar could be playing for his Newcastle future, or to pen a permanent deal with the Serie B side at the end of the season.
