# Newcastle v Watford: Combined XI

Newcastle play host to Watford in the Premier League this weekend as they look to build on their win over Spurs last Sunday.

Steve Bruce’s side picked up their first three points of the season as they won 1-0 against Tottenham, with summer signing Joelinton scoring the only goal of the game. This came after losses against Arsenal and Norwich in the first two games of the campaign.

Watford, meanwhile, are yet to register a single point in the Premier League after three straight losses.

The Hornets lost 3-0 to Brighton, 1-0 to Everton and 3-1 to West Ham, which means that they will be further motivated to come away from Tyneside with all three points this weekend.

Despite their poor start to the season, Watford have plenty of quality throughout their squad and enjoyed a successful 2018/19 campaign.

But, what would a combined Newcastle and Watford XI look like? Here is our attempt…
