# These Newcastle fans react to Lazaar closing in on Serie B loan

Newcastle left-back Achraf Lazaar appears to be closing in on a loan move to Serie B side Cosenza.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazaar is poised to sign for the Italian outfit on loan until the end of the season.

### READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT

After he was left out of Newcastle’s official Premier League squad for the season, it comes as no surprise to see him leave Tyneside this summer.

The left-back was clearly deemed not good enough by Steve Bruce, despite playing under him at Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship last term, and has now been forced to find a new club.

There are some questions from fans, as shown above, as to why it is not a permanent deal, but sometimes it is not as simple as it seems. For example, maybe no clubs were interested in signing Lazaar on a permanent, due to his lack of game time over the last few years in England.

He does, however, now have the chance to go to Italy and impress – potentially playing for his future at Newcastle.
