England manager Gareth Southgate has named his squad for the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.
Aston Villa centre-back Tyrone Mings has been handed his first call-up, after playing just three Premier League games this season – following a spell in the Championship last term.

READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT
Mings has played just three Premier League matches, whilst Lascelles has been a regular in three of the last four campaigns – playing a key role in Newcastle’s Championship promotion in the other.
Lascelles has been a solid Premier League defender during his Newcastle career and is a year younger than Mings, who has only played 20 matches in the top tier for Bournemouth and Villa combined.
It is odd that Mings has been given the nod after such a short spell of games, especially after Villa lost two of their three matches and conceded five goals. Lascelles, among other English defenders, can find themselves a touch unfortunate not to get in ahead of him.
