Newcastle face off against Leicester at St James’ Park in the League Cup on Wednesday night.
The Toon will be looking to progress through to the next round after a 1-0 win over Tottenham in the Premier League on Sunday.
One player who could be given an opportunity to impress is teenage midfielder Matty Longstaff.

Although Newcastle are well stacked in central midfield, it would be good to see the young midfielder given a chance to shine in the cup.
The 19-year-old has impressed in the youth set-up at Newcastle and can look to his brother, Sean, for inspiration – following his success in the first-team.
Steve Bruce confirmed in his pre-match press conference that a number of players are doubts for the game, due to an injury, which could also open a door for Longstaff to come in – potentially to even play alongside his brother in the team.
