READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT
Although Lascelles was, perhaps, unlucky not to have been penalised for taking down Harry Kane in the box, he enjoyed a strong performance against the Champions League finalists.
The centre-back was given a 7.78/10 rating by WhoScored for his display, the highest of any player on the pitch – making him their Man of the Match.
Lascelles has averaged an impressive 5.7 clearances per game in the Premier League this season, whilst also making three tackles and eight interceptions – an impressive return for the former Nottingham Forest man.
