READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT
If Newcastle are going to get a result against Tottenham then they are going to need to counter quickly, with Miguel Almiron lacking in pace.
Saint-Maximin’s direct play and speed on the ball should allow Newcastle to counter with pace and cause Spurs problems on the break, as opposed to the slow build-up we saw against Norwich and Arsenal in the opening two games.
Joelinton will also be hoping that Saint-Maximin can deliver some quality crosses for him to attack, as he goes in search of his first goal for the club after his move from Hoffenheim in the summer.
