# “Next Tim Krul” – These Newcastle fans react to Woodman’s performance

Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie Woodman joined Swansea on a season-long loan earlier this summer.

The England youth international has played the full 90 minutes on Wednesday night as Swansea beat QPR 3-1 in the Championship.

Woodman impressed with a couple of crucial saves to keep Swansea in the game, with a header from Jordan Hugill the only effort that was able to sneak past the shot-stopper.

These Newcastle fans reacted to his performance on Twitter…

### READ NEWCASTLE VERDICT

Despite conceding three goals against Norwich last week, Martin Dubravka has proven his worth for the club over the past year with some top performances between the sticks.

If Newcastle are relegated this season, worst comes to worst, Woodman could be the ideal candidate to take over the number one shirt if Dubravka leaves Tyneside – for whatever reason.

The 22-year-old will now be hoping that he can enjoy a full season of Championship action and impress enough for Steve Bruce to, potentially, give him a chance in the side next term.
