Hellas Verona have joined Utrecht in the race to land Newcastle defender Achraf Lazaar this summer.
According to Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari, Verona are interested in a deal for the Newcastle man.

Should Newcastle be looking to sell Lazaar, or loan him out?
Sell, is the logical answer. Lazaar has been with the club for over three years and made just four league appearances, which all came in the Championship during the 2016/17 campaign.
Given that he has been unable to force his way into the side over the last three seasons, there is no evidence to suggest that his situation would change in the next 12 months if he leaves on loan.
Newcastle should be looking to sell and recoup as much money as they can for the left-back, who signed a five-year deal when he joined from Palermo.
He has also been left out of Newcastle’s Premier League squad for this season, which means that he needs to find a move before the end of the month if he wants to play regular football this year.
