In the fall out of Newcastle United’s loss to Norwich at Carrow Road, The Chronicle’s Lee Ryder wrote a column explaining why he thinks that those connected to the club still haven’t got over the parting of company with Rafa Benitez.
Quite simply, #NUFC have to get over Benitez leaving as soon as possible, writes @lee_ryder https://t.co/Pb4NCxIZo6

The Magpies have lost their opening two games of the season and there are plenty of supporters who are unhappy with what’s going on in the dug out, on the pitch and in the boardroom.
When Ryder tweeted out the link to his piece, a few fans called him out, saying that it’s him and his paper who keep bringing Benitez up.
"Get over Benitez nufc fans, but we won't because we're still using his name to get fans clicking on our articles and use them for a reaction"

The only people that need to get over it are the journalists and the club management. You keep harping on about him while the rest of us are harping in about what a complete disaster Steve Bruce is. How quickly will we be relegated.

However, plenty of fans saw the tweet to vent about Bruce and how they feel that he’s not good enough to be the manager of Newcastle.
Chronicle protecting Bruce by Blaming the players even Rafa etc
Nonsense
Same players that done well under Rafa, with excellent team spirit
Norwich players had organised shape, plan & tactics from their knowledgeable manager

Ashley has appointed another yes man. Bruce isn’t up to the job. We’re going down

Nothing to do with Rafa leaving. Simply that SB is not good enough.
Analogy: Chocolate Teapot.

Read Newcastle verdict
It is slightly odd that a write from an outlet which refers to Rafa Benitez a lot is saying that the club need to forget about him.
However, the hiring of Steve Bruce was always going to be a divisive one and although it’s early, the signs have not been promising. The team look leaky at the back and it’s hard to see where the goals are going to come from.
The club’s supporters have been through a lot and it’s hard to see these fans changing their mind on Bruce anytime soon.
