The Winners and Losers in Newcastle’s defeat to Norwich

Steve Bruce has certainly had a week to forget.

Following the opening weekend defeat to Arsenal, the Magpies boss admitted he was hoping to rock up at newly-promoted Norwich City and ‘nick a result’, much to the annoyance of the Newcastle faithful.

Unfortuantely for him, his worrying plan surprisingly failed. Norwich ran out 3-1 winners at Carrow Road thanks to a Teemu Pukki hat-trick.

Newcastle now head to Tottenham Hotspur next weekend in search of a first Premier League point of the season, and there are plenty of questions that need to be answered ahead of the tricky trip to London.

However, before we look into them, we’ve decided to take a look at the ‘winners and losers’ from the defeat to Norwich. Quick spoiler, there are plenty of losers.
