Newcastle have brought in four summer signings ahead of the new season, with many Magpies fans hoping for another addition before Thursday’s 5pm deadline.
Steve Bruce has acquired the services of Joelinton, Allan Saint-Maximin and Jetro Willems, with Sweden international Emil Krafth also completing a move to Tyneside.
However, some Magpies supporters have hit out at the club’s transfer activity, with many calling for another centre-forward to arrive at St James’ Park.

Even though the club have spent over £60 million this summer, if Newcastle’s only late arrival is Krafth, Magpies supporters have every right to be worried ahead of the new season.
Like one fan mentioned, all it takes is one attacking talent to pick up a serious injury to leave Bruce short of replacements, which could be pivotal in the season as a whole.
If club-record signing Joelinton picks up a knock, it would put plenty of pressure on the returning Dwight Gayle. Bringing in another attacking option to help the Magpies appears to be essential, however, it remains to be seen as to whether or not Newcastle will act in the final hours.
