Newcastle are not prepared to meet Hull City’s asking price for winger Jarrod Bowen this summer.
According to Chronicle journalist Lee Ryder, Newcastle are unwilling to pay £20m to land the forward.

Newcastle have been heavily linked with a move for Bowen in recent weeks, but is he worth £20m?
Bowen scored 22 goals for Hull in the Championship last season and netted 14 times the year before, despite his side finishing in the bottom half on both occasions.

The 22-year-old is one of the most highly-rated young players outside of the top–flight at the moment and has been linked to the likes of Tottenham, Everton and Norwich in the Premier League.
He plays predominantly off the right wing and likes to cut inside onto his left foot and look to curl shots into the far corner.
Is he worth £20m? Yes. If Newcastle are paying £40m for Joelinton, who is the same age as Bowen, then £20m is a snip. Joelinton has scored three goals in his last 20 and scored five of his seven league goals last season by the start of November.
If Newcastle are not ready to pay £20m for Bowen, it would not be a surprise for another Premier League side to swoop in and secure a deal.
