Newcastle player ratings: Everton (H)

Newcastle completed a great comeback to beat Everton 3-2 at St James’ Park.

Despite being 2-0 down early on, the Toon fought back to win the game despite some questionable refereeing decisions.

Dominic Calvert Lewin put Everton in front before Richarlison added a second.

The Brazilian scored after Newcastle missed a penalty through a Jordan Pickford save, despite some calls for the goalkeeper to be sent off.

However, after the break, Newcastle turned it around. Goals from Salomon Rondon and Ayoze Perez handed Rafa Benitez a key win, with Everton completely collapsing in the North East.

Here’s how we rated the Newcastle players.
