Newcastle will be hoping to get back to winning ways as they host Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
United were cruelly denied an impressive 1-0 win at Wolves last time out after the hosts equalised in the 95th minute.
That made it two games in succession that Newcastle let in a preventable late goal, the first denied them a point at Wembley and the second cost them two at Molineux.
However, in the Magpies’ last home game, they stunned title chasing Manchester City with a 2-1 win.
Saturday’s fixture will be slightly different with Rafa Benitez’s side being firm favourites as opposed to the underdogs like they have been in each of their last three games.
Their opponents sit rooted to the bottom of the table having picked up just 11 points from their 26 games so far this season.
Benitez has a positive selection dilemma to make with new and returning players in the frame to feature.
Only Rob Elliot misses out while Jonjo Shelvey remains a doubt in a near fully-fit squad.
Here is how we predict Newcastle to line up against Huddersfield.
GK - Martin Dubravka
In the midst of his toughest spell at Newcastle after a few costly errors but he still made some decent saves against Wolves and is expected to keep his place.
RWB - DeAndre Yedlin
Is likely to stay at right wing-back ahead of Javier Manquillo.
CB - Fabian Schar
One of the in-form Magpies players and an easy pick for Benitez.
CB - Jamaal Lascelles
The skipper has looked as solid as ever in recent matches and will play in the middle of the back three.
CB - Florian Lejeune
The centre-back under the most pressure to keep his place but there is no need for the manager to change at this point.
LWB - Matt Ritchie
Has given little reason for Benitez to introduce Barreca just yet.
CM - Isaac Hayden
Has formed an impressive partnership with Sean Longstaff and he did enough against Wolves to keep his place.
CM - Sean Longstaff
Both centre-midfielders are now under pressure from the returning Ki and Mo Diame but it would be harsh to drop the youngster.
CAM - Miguel Almiron
Showed glimpses in his cameo at Wolves and could prove crucial against the defence of Huddersfield.
CAM - Ayoze Perez
Has put in some improved performances recently and could form a lively partnership with Almiron.
ST - Salomon Rondon
No doubt about the striker starting and Rondon will fancy his chances of adding to his goal tally against the Terriers.
