Newcastle United are interested in signing Marseille winger Clinton N’Jie, according to the Daily Mail.
The Magpies join a host of Premier League clubs in registering their interest in the 25-year-old, who spent time at Tottenham in the early days of his career.
Burnley, Cardiff and Fulham are also reportedly vying for his signature, as they look to bring the Cameroon international back to the Premier League.
N’Jie has fallen out of favour at Marseille and is believed to be available on a temporary basis with a view to a permanent move in the summer.
The forward has spent the last two seasons with the French side, making 62 appearances and scoring 13 goals. However, due to receiving limited game thus far in this campaign, N’Jie could be set to depart.
Rafa Benitez is looking to bolster his attacking options, especially out wide, with N’Jie seen as a potential candidate.
