Newcastle United have made enquiries over deals to sign French duo Kenny Lala and Valentin Rosier.
According to France Football, as cited on Get French Football News, Rafa Benitez is keen to snap up their pair during the January transfer window.
Rosier is highly rated in France and at the age of 22, many are tipping him to achieve big things in the future.
Lala, 27, is the more experienced of the two but has impressed during the first half of the season.
Enjoying a standout campaign, the attacking full-back has scored three times and registered a further six assists.
Lala’s performances in Ligue 1 have not gone unnoticed, with the defender also attracting interest from teams in France.
Newcastle’s form over the festive period has eased some fears over another relegation battle, but Benitez remains keen to strengthen in a bid to cement their place in the top flight.
