Newcastle have joined the race to sign Liverpool defender Nathaniel Clyne in January.
According to reports, Newcastle will rival the likes of Cardiff and Crystal Palace in a bid to sign the Englishman in the new year.
Clyne is out of favour at Anfield and has been used sparingly since the emergence of Trent Alexander-Arnold.

While also struggling with injuries of late, Clyne has found regular Premier League football hard to come by.
The 27-year-old has started just once in the Premier League this season for Liverpool, making another three appearances off the bench.
Cardiff are believed to be leading the race to sign the defender, with Neil Warnock hoping to strengthen in January as he seeks to avoid an immediate return to the Championship.
Clyne would provide competition for DeAndre Yedlin, who has been United’s first-choice at right-back during their time in the Premier League.
