Premier League club Newcastle United a plotting a January move for Eintracht Frankfurt full-back Jetro Willems, according to a report on the Daily Mail.
The Magpies’ manager Rafa Benitez is desperate to strengthen his squad next month as he aims to avoid a relegation battle.

Benitez believes that his team needs to have a stronger left side of the defence and he has identified Dutch international left-back Willems as a potential target.
The 24-year-old has had an impressive season so far and helped Frankfurt storm through the group stages of the Europa League.
However, Benitez may need to act quickly because Italian club AS Roma is keeping tabs on the full-back too.
Willems moved from PSV to Frankfurt in the summer of 2017 and it is understood that the German club is not keen on letting him leave in January.
However, they may be tempted to sell him if they can recoup more than the £4.5m fee that they paid to sign him.
