Newcastle are reportedly ready to let wantaway defender Achraf Lazaar leave St James Park this January, with Genoa ready to make a bid.

Now, the defender is simply playing with the reserves, and Newcastle could push through a move that lets the defender leave the Magpies.

The defender spent last season on loan at Benevento, who were relegated to Serie B at the end of the season.
