Achraf Lazaar’s time at Newcastle is almost at an end.
Lazaar fell out of favour at St James’ Park last year, the full-back was loaned to Benevento in August of 2017.
Having only played nine times in Italy, Lazaar seems to be crying out for a new start.
The 26-year-old was excluded from the Magpies squad for the prime-time clash against Burnley on Monday, despite first choice left-back Paul Dummett having sustained an injury over the international break.

The defender had been close to making a move to Genoa in the summer, but the deal collapsed late in the window.
However, reports are suggesting the Serie A club could revive their interest in Lazaar for the January transfer window.
Manager Rafael Benitez seems to have determined Lazaar to be entirely surplus to requirements on Tyneside, with a departure now all but assured in the winter.
Where to – and what fee he’ll command – remain to be seen.
