Newcastle United will face competition from West Ham United in their pursuit of Miguel Almiron.
According to a report from Football London, the Hammers are believed to be among a host of Premier League clubs who are keen to make a move for the 24-year-old following his impressive form for Atlanta United.
Rafa Benitez’s men have been heavily linked with a move for Almiron in recent times and the player’s agent Daniel Campos was in attendance for Newcastle’s 2-1 win against Bournemouth recently.

However, it seems the Magpies will be faced with stiff competition if they are to pursue a deal for the Paraguay international, with West Ham out to secure his signature.
The London club are understood to be keen on adding a creative midfielder to the ranks when the transfer window opens, with Manuel Lanzini still some way off returning to full first-team training.
It was reported on Monday that Atlanta may not welcome offers worth anything less than £25 million, though, indicating that a transfer could be difficult for suitors such as Newcastle to complete.
