With a truly dire start to the Premier League season behind them, Newcastle have seemed a wholly fresh and exciting side this month.
Late October’s goalless draw away at Southampton, tallied with successive home wins against Watford and Bournemouth, have spurred on Rafa Benitez’s side.
Fears of relegation and humiliation are slowly fading around St James’ Park, although match-ups against lower-league neighbours Burnley and West Ham after the international break could prove instrumental prior to the ever-chaotic festive period.
It is no secret that Benitez wants to bring in a few players in the January window. Not only will this hopefully bring about firepower to the Magpies and catapult them away from the drop zone, but it will also be necessary given the squad face Man United, Chelsea, Man City and Spurs within the first four weeks of 2019.
Here are four possible loan signings that Newcastle could make in the upcoming window, each having their own assets worthy of a place in the squad.
