Defender Jamaal Lascelles has signed a new deal at Newcastle United, ending any suggestions that he could be on the move in the near future.
The Shields Gazette report that the player has signed a new six-year deal at St James Park, ending any speculation about his future.
The new deal will see the player earn a reported £70,000 a week at the club.
Both Chelsea and Tottenham have been long-term admirers of the player and have been keeping a watchful eye on his situation.

With concerns over Newcastle’s form this season, there had been suggestions clubs could come in for him in January.
The 24-year-old has been Newcastle’s star man throughout their time in the Premier League and has now seen his form rewarded with a bumper new deal at the club.
The news will come as a major boost to the Premier League strugglers, who would have been desperate to keep hold of him for as long as possible.
