Premier League club Newcastle United are keeping a close eye on the situation of Galatasaray striker Garry Rodrigues, according to a report on Turkish Football.
The forward has been valued at around €15m by the Turkish club and the Magpies have reportedly reignited their interest in the forward.
Newcastle were linked with a move for the Cape Verde international during the most recent transfer window and had an offer rejected, resulting in the club turning to a loan move for Salomon Rondon.
With goals being hard to come by for Newcastle so far this season, manager Rafa Benitez has scouted the former PAOK forward once more and could be tempted to make a move for him in January.
The 27-year-old still has three years remaining on his contract with Galatasaray and is an established member of the first team, starting in both of their Champions League group matches this season.
The striker has two goals in six matches in the Turkish Super Lig this season and Benitez isn’t giving up hope on signing him.
