Newcastle’s transfer business is once again hitting the headlines with Benitez certain he’ll have to strengthen again in January to help avoid relegation.

The Magpies have been known to pick up a bargain in recent windows, with the likes of Martin Dúbravka joining for small fees.

Benitez has been forced to shop in smaller leagues and utilise the loan market with funds at the club limited.

Newcastle’s January business last season was widely credited as one of the key turning points in their campaign, with the likes of Dúbravka and Kenedy, who joined on loan from Chelsea, helping them push for safety.
