Newcastle United rejected six loan offers over the course of the season for goalkeeper Freddie Woodman.
According to The Chronicle, Newcastle refused to let Woodman leave on a temporary basis.
The report claims that Oxford and Charlton both had offers for the shot-stopper turned down, after he asked to leave the club in July.

Woodman realised that he would be getting any game-time at Newcastle and was keen to leave on loan to gain some much-needed experience.
For unknown reasons, Newcastle opted against this and Woodman now faces sitting in the reserves until January, at least.
Four other unknown clubs had bids turned down for Woodman, with Championship sides Sheffield United and Norwich having been linked with him earlier in the summer.
The 21-year-old made eight appearances on loan to Aberdeen in Scotland last season, where he failed to make a massive impact.
