Tianjin Quanjian are hoping that they can convince Rafa Benitez to move to the Chinese Super League once his deal with Newcastle expires.
The Guardian reports that the Chinese club want the former Liverpool and Real Madrid boss to take over from Paulo Sousa in nine months time when his deal with St James’ Park expires.
It is yet to be seen if Benitez will put pen to paper on a new deal at Newcastle after a strained public relationship with Mike Ashley.

The Spaniard has been very vocal about his displeasure of the transfer budget he has been handed during his time with the club.
Benitez has been forced to work on small budgets as he attempts to guide Newcastle to safety once again this season.
He has often attracted interest from other clubs during his time at the club and any decision on his future could depend on where Newcastle finish this season.
Given the money available in the Chinese Super League, Benitez could be tempted by the switch.
