Newcastle are offering Rolando Aarons to Championship clubs in a bid to stir up interest in the player.
The Northern Echo reports that the Magpies are hoping that a team in the second tier will take the player on a season-long loan deal.
Aarons has been widely expected to leave the club this summer, but no deal is yet to materialise.

The winger spent time on loan at Hellas Verona last season after falling out of favour at St James’ Park.
He has not featured for Newcastle in a competitive feature since Manchester City’s visit back in December.
Aarons has been unable to fulfil his potential at Newcastle after being tipped to break through at a young age.
He had been on the fringes of the first-team squad under Rafa Benitez but has since been unable to nail down a place following the club’s return to the top flight last season.
