Newcastle could offer Dwight Gayle in exchange for West Brom striker Salomon Rondon.
According to Sky Sports, Newcastle send Gayle to West Brom in an attempt to land Rondon this summer.
Newcastle are eager to get a deal for Rondon over the line and are currently in talks with West Brom.
The report claims that Gayle could be offered in a straight loan swap or a player-plus-cash deal.

West Brom are interested in bringing Gayle down to the Championship, with Rondon keen on a move to the Premier League with Newcastle.
Gayle scored 23 goals in 32 appearances for Newcastle in the Championship, but was only able to net six times in the Premier League last season.
The 27-year-old has scored 116 goals in his career and has proven himself in the Championship for Newcastle and Peterborough.
Rondon has a £16.5m release clause in his West Brom contract, but Newcastle could use Gayle to soften the deal.
