Newcastle United are keen on a deal to sign Nikola Vlasic from Everton on loan, according to a report from the Daily Mail.
The Toffees winger fell out of favour last season under all three of Ronald Koeman, David Unsworth and Sam Allardyce at Goodison Park, with a temporary departure seemingly a possibility this summer.
Newcastle are out to add further attacking options to the ranks ahead of next season but are again restricted by limited funds. Therefore, a loan swoop for Vlasic could be of interest to Rafa Benitez and his men.

Everton signed Vlasic last summer from Croatian side Hajduk Split in a deal believed to be worth in the region of £10m. Despite showing flashes of potential, he has so far underwhelmed on Merseyside.
With Ademola Lookman having returned from his loan spell at RB Leipzig, leaving Everton stocked with options who can operate on the wings, it seems Vlasic could be sent out on loan to gain more first-team football.
Newcastle want to add attacking quality before the season starts next month and if the Mail are to be believed, Vlasic is indeed an option under consideration.
